Farmers Choir Northern Ireland Spring Concert

Overview

The Farmers Choir Northern Ireland Spring Concert is one of the organisation’s flagship events, bringing together choir members, musicians, guests, and supporters for an evening of live music and entertainment. Held in The Braid Theatre, Ballymena, the concert attracted a sell-out audience, creating an exciting atmosphere from the moment the doors opened.

As both a sponsor of the event and the team responsible for delivering photography and videography coverage, our involvement extended far beyond simply documenting the evening. From event promotion and programme design through to multi-camera video production and photography coverage, we worked closely with Farmers Choir Northern Ireland to help deliver a successful event both on and off the stage.

Sponsorship & Event Support

Alongside our production role, we were proud to act as an official sponsor of the Spring Concert.

Supporting local organisations and community events is something we place significant value on, and sponsoring the concert allowed us to contribute directly to an event that celebrates local talent, music, and community engagement across Northern Ireland.

Our involvement began long before the audience arrived on the night. Working alongside the organisers, we designed the official concert programmes which were subsequently printed and distributed to choir members, guests, and audience members attending the event.

By combining sponsorship with creative support and event coverage, we were able to contribute to the success of the concert in multiple ways, helping Farmers Choir Northern Ireland deliver a polished experience for everyone involved.

Preparation

Live performance events require careful planning. Unlike many forms of content creation, concerts happen in real time, with no opportunity to repeat performances or recreate key moments once they have passed.

To ensure everything ran smoothly, members of our team attended the rehearsal evening at The Braid Theatre prior to the event. This provided an opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the venue, assess stage lighting conditions, audio requirements, identify camera positions, and plan coverage for both photography and videography.

This preparation proved invaluable. By understanding the flow of the concert in advance, we were able to position equipment strategically, anticipate key moments, and ensure comprehensive coverage throughout the performance.

Preparation is often one of the most important aspects of live event coverage, and taking the time to plan ahead allowed us to approach the concert with confidence on the night itself.

Photography Coverage

Photography coverage focused on creating a complete visual record of the event while capturing the atmosphere of a sell-out concert.

Throughout the evening, images were captured of the Farmers Choir Northern Ireland, accompanying musicians, guest performers, audience members, and key individuals involved in the event. Coverage included a mixture of close-up imagery, wider stage perspectives, audience reactions, venue details, and atmosphere shots that reflected the scale and energy of the concert.

In addition to documenting the live performances, we also captured a number of important posed photographs throughout the evening. These included committee members alongside the Mayor, photographs of the band, and images featuring Musical Director Sara Crockett and other key contributors to the event.

By combining live performance photography with formal portraits and event documentation, the final gallery provided Farmers Choir Northern Ireland with a versatile collection of imagery suitable for social media, future marketing, sponsorship opportunities, and archival purposes.

Four-Camera Video Production

A major element of the project was the creation of a comprehensive four-camera recording of the concert.

Rather than relying on a single viewpoint, the performance was recorded using four separate cameras positioned throughout the venue, ensuring that every aspect of the concert was captured from multiple angles. This approach allowed us to record wide views of the full stage, detailed close-ups of performers, reactions from musicians, and key moments throughout the evening without missing important action.

The use of a four-camera setup provided significantly greater flexibility during editing, allowing for dynamic cuts between angles and creating a far more engaging final result than would be possible with a single-camera recording.

Each song performed during the concert was edited and delivered as an individual multi-camera production. This gave Farmers Choir Northern Ireland a substantial library of content that could be utilised across social media platforms throughout the year, rather than relying solely on content from the night immediately after the event.

The ability to repurpose individual performances into standalone content significantly extended the value of the production and provided the organisation with ongoing marketing assets long after the concert had concluded.

Social Media Content

Alongside the full performance recordings, we also produced a concert highlight film designed specifically for social media.

The final edit combined footage from across the evening, showcasing the atmosphere of the venue, audience engagement, key musical performances, and memorable moments from the concert.

By blending performance footage with audience reactions and behind-the-scenes elements, the highlight video captured the energy of the evening while providing a concise and engaging piece of content suitable for sharing online.

The Outcome

The Spring Concert represented far more than a standard event coverage project. Through a combination of event sponsorship, programme design, photography, and four-camera video production, we played an active role in supporting the success of the event from initial planning through to final delivery.

The sell-out audience, high-quality visual content, and extensive library of multi-camera recordings ensured Farmers Choir Northern Ireland received a collection of assets that can continue to support future promotion, audience engagement, and organisational growth.

By investing heavily in preparation, attending rehearsals in advance, and implementing a four-camera production workflow, we were able to capture every performance from multiple perspectives while preserving the atmosphere and excitement of a memorable evening at The Braid Theatre.
